ExploreAI agrees on partnership with ALX to teach data science and data analytics to thousands of students in 2023

Since our founding, EAI Academy's driving passion has been to teach as many deserving young Africans as possible tech skills that lead to great jobs. It's been an incredible journey:

• From 100 sponsored students in person at a single Cape Town campus in 2018;
• To 1,000+ students, using multiple tuition options and studying across Africa in 2022.

The Partnership

We're now gearing up for an even more significant impact across the African continent from 2023 through a partnership signed with ALX / The ROOM. Three cohorts of thousands of students will enrol in data analytics and data science courses from mid-2023. For this partnership, we're scaling and securing our learning platform, building new content and innovating on our delivery blueprint for low-facilitation training programmes.

Who is ALX, and what is The ROOM?

ALX is a global organisation with an African focus on a mission to identify, develop, and equip Africa's next generation of leaders by accelerating their careers through technology and professional skills. They will achieve this by partnering with technical training providers to teach in-demand skills. The ROOM is ALX's talent community. It supports the ALX grads' professional growth and connects them to worldwide employment opportunities.

ALX has chosen ExploreAI Academy as their preferred partner over the next 18 months (at least) to train thousands of students in their network in data analytics and data science. This deal pairs ExploreAI with a global partner who will help with marketing (to find the best candidates) and placing (to find compelling jobs for the graduates).

Impact on ExploreAI

This opportunity accelerates our Academy impact aspirations by about five years. We see ALX's selecting ExploreAI Academy to administer their data analytics and data science courses as an incredible validation of our content, teaching philosophy, and impact. It culminates six years of work, thousands of hours of content creation, and the collective aspiration of ExploreAI's dedicated staff and students.
